Another incident of a white policeman shooting a black man occurred in the United States. In Arizona, a police officer shot and killed a black suspected drug dealer who was unarmed at the time. Police later found a semi-automatic pistol and a bottle of a substance believed to be marijuana in the deceased's car. —

The 34-year-old black man in Brisbane, who was shot and killed by a white police officer, parked his car in front of a convenience store in Phoenix on the evening of the 2nd. Witnesses reported to the police that he was suspected of drug trafficking.

The officer immediately called for backup and saw Brisbane moving items from the back seat of the car. The police immediately asked Brisbane to show his hands, but he jumped out of the car and ran away and broke into a house where children were present.

A police spokesman said that because the police officer, who had 7 years of experience, could not grasp Brisbane's left hand that was hidden in his pocket, and felt that there was a pistol hidden in his pocket, he shot him dead with two shots.

It was later confirmed that there was only a bottle of painkillers in his pocket, but a pistol and a bottle of a substance believed to be cannabis were found in the car in Brisbane.

A lawyer for Brisbane's family said that the police killed Brisbane, leaving his four children without a father and his wife without a husband. The police need to re-evaluate their law enforcement methods and should not kill suspects.

In the past six months, many black people have died during police enforcement operations, triggering a series of demonstrations. President Obama said he needed to address the issue of police use of deadly force and improve public trust in police governance.
