According to officials, a major traffic accident involving five vehicles occurred at Arizona Avenue and Loop 202 in Chandler, resulting in one person being seriously injured. The Chandler Fire Department said four other people suffered minor injuries in the collision.

The northbound lanes on Arizona Avenue were restricted and drivers turned onto the eastbound lane of Loop 202. Restrictions remain in place but intersections have been cleared, ADOT said.
