News, Chengdu, December 26 On December 16, a delegation from the University of Arizona visited Sichuan Film and Television Academy (hereinafter referred to as Sichuan Film Academy). Sichuan Film Festival Chairman Huang Yuanwen, Dean Luo Gonghe, Dance Department Director Chen Zhihui, Deputy Director of English Teaching Yi Xue, Deputy Director of Photography Department Hao Jian and other school leaders held discussions with Ms. Tannis Gibson, Dean of the School of Art at the University of Arizona, and Wang Yonggang, professor of the University of Arizona Law Department and director of the China Exchange and Cooperation Project, on future international cooperation between the two schools. The two parties reached a consensus and formally established a cooperative relationship.
The University of Arizona delegation visited the teaching and training venues of Sichuan Film Academy’s Anren Campus and Jinniu Campus. When visiting the school history museum, Liu Guofu, director of the college office, and others introduced the history of Sichuan Film School's establishment to the guests. When visiting the campus TV station, the guests watched campus news, learned about the college's integrated studio, recording studio and other hardware facilities, and experienced first-hand the results of the college's practical teaching. Ms. Tannis Gibson showed strong interest in the teaching models and teaching facilities of the various training venues of the college. He expressed high appreciation for the level of the college's hardware facilities and the professional level of the students, and consulted on the curriculum and other relevant information, hoping that both parties could strengthen cooperation and learn from each other.

At the subsequent symposium, Ms. Tannis Gibson first said that she was deeply impressed after visiting the two campuses of Sichuan and Yingying. She highly recognized the campus environment, facilities and equipment, teaching mode and talent training of the college. The leaders of both sides then had a detailed exchange on the professional settings, curriculum cooperation methods, teaching concepts, etc. of the two schools. Huang Yuanwen and Luo Gonghe focused on understanding the process of the "Micro Campus" project jointly carried out by the University of Arizona and other universities in China, and conducted in-depth discussions on cooperation methods and feasibility in dance majors, and reached a common intention to carry out further cooperation in music, dance, and photography majors. Luo Gonghe expressed the hope that more and more in-depth exchange projects can be carried out with the University of Arizona in the future to provide a broader platform for teachers and students of the two schools to promote exchanges and learning.
