The Overseas Chinese Federation of Fujian Province officially announced that the Fujian Overseas Chinese Federation has established the first 11 liaison offices in countries and regions with relatively concentrated overseas Fujian Chinese and mature conditions. This will promote the communication, liaison and exchange between overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese groups and the Fujian Overseas Chinese Federation system, and gather overseas forces for Fujian Province to "comprehensively implement the great opening-up strategy and form a great opening-up pattern." Yang Wentian of the Arizona Overseas Chinese Association was promoted to director of the liaison office.

The first batch of overseas liaison office directors appointed by the Fujian Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation are: Director of the New York Liaison Office in the United States: Chen Qingquan (Chairman of Mobil Group, USA); Director of the Arizona Liaison Office in the United States: Yang Wentian (Director of Dengfeng (USA) Co., Ltd. Fujian is China's major province for overseas Chinese affairs. There are currently more than 12.6 million overseas Chinese, distributed in 176 countries and regions in the world. For a long time, the vast number of overseas Chinese from Fujian have carried forward the valuable spirit of "Love to work hard and dare to win", brave the rain and wind, and work hard to start a business, making important contributions to the economic and social development of the countries where they live. At the same time, the majority of overseas Chinese from Fujian vigorously carry forward the fine tradition of "patriotism and love for hometown" and pay close attention to and support the various constructions of their hometown and ancestral country. Through the joint efforts of folks at home and abroad, especially the enthusiastic "matchmaking" of the Fujian Overseas Chinese Federation system, the majority of overseas Chinese from Fujian have returned to Fujian to invest in businesses and donate to charity, making important and irreplaceable contributions to Fujian's reform and opening up, scientific development, and leapfrog development.
