The golden dragon dances to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. On March 10th, a 15-foot long dragon danced by the Longgang Liu Family Troupe from Tucson City greeted the guests at Luk Fook Restaurant, kicking off the Spring Banquet of Longgang Office in Phoenix City. The Longgang group consists of the four surnames Liu, Guan, Zhang and Zhao, and is itself the shadow of a large Chinese community family. Over the years, in addition to relatives of the four surnames, many distinguished guests attending the Longgang Spring Banquet, including friends from all walks of life and social figures, came to express their congratulations. The guests and hosts spent a warm and joyful Spring Festival evening together. This is true. Recently, the Longgang General Office of the United States, which has a history of more than a century, wrote an article in its subsidiary publication "Longgang Quarterly", calling Mr. Yu Wenjin, a senior overseas Chinese leader in this city, the best "Friend of Longgang". He has widely introduced it to fellow citizens of all four surnames in the United States and the world, and it has also added a lot to my local Longgang group. Therefore, when the current Chairman Zhang Huafang delivered his speech at the Spring Banquet, he did not forget to express his heartfelt thanks to these warm-hearted friends over the years for their enthusiastic support and care for our Longgang Office. In addition to guests from out of town, family members, old friend groups, old friends and new acquaintances, there were also Mr. Yu Wenjin, Mr. Deng Chaoju, Mr. Yu Changcun, Pang, and so on. Chairman Zhang Huafang also praised the founders of Longgang, Liu Ruzhang, Guan Xiqiao, Guan Zongren, and the Longgang team, and encouraged everyone to make greater contributions to Longgang and the Chinese community in the future.

The spring banquet of Longgang Office in Phoenix City has always been colorful and lively, fresh every year. This year, Miss Chen Yiyan, the princess of the Phoenix pageant, was invited to greet guests at the door with a smiling face; a group of "Old Friends" from the Senior Youth Association appeared on stage, with eye-catching and bright costumes, and beautiful singing and dancing; the daughter of Chairman Hua Fang, who is still young, sang sweetly and sang with sweet music, which attracted continuous applause. What was even more attractive, of course, was the suspense of the lottery: Luk Fook Restaurant gave away affordable meal coupons; Mr. Guan Zongren’s gift of ten pieces of silver was highlighted; Vice Chairman Liu Quanzhi donated a high-definition TV, a 32-inch SONY brand, and the winner was always surprised; Consultant Liu Ruzhang took out the round-trip air tickets for two people from his arms, and the trip to Vancouver was no lie. The lucky ones who were drawn were all very happy, and the guests at the banquet were also noisy. The master of ceremony, Guan Yanyi, was dignified but did not forget to play with the Taishan dialect, and the whole process was full of joy. Unknowingly, it was time to give blessings again. The chairman led all the directors to express their kind words of thanks one by one with tea instead of wine. As the banquet was about to break up, everyone said goodbye, leaving behind a string of beautiful figures in the flashing lights. There is a saying that "Longgang welcomes distinguished guests in the Year of the Dragon, and ordinary people of all four surnames celebrate the New Year."
