(Alberta Times) On April 26, the Arizona Asian American Lawyers Association held its 2012 Spring Banquet at the Chandler Ruby Restaurant. The Asian American Lawyers Association invited the world-renowned detective Li Changyu to give a wonderful speech. More than 300 members and guests participated in the grand event to celebrate the grand gathering of Asian judicial circles in Alberta.
Fox Channel 10 Asian reporter Kelly Hessedal hosted the dinner. Former Chairman Briana E.Chua delivered a welcome speech and solemnly introduced the world-renowned detective Dr. Li Changyu. Li Changyu, an expert in criminal forensics, has been a police officer for 50 years, adhering to the attitude of "let the evidence speak for itself and being responsible for history". He has participated in the investigation of more than 8,000 major criminal cases in 42 countries around the world. Some of them have become teaching examples for the international forensic science community and the police community, including the famous American star Simpson's suspected wife murder case, the Clinton scandal case, and the "Chen Shui-bian shooting case" that is well known to many Chinese. Li Changyu walked up to the podium and always made the guests laugh with humorous jokes. He laughed at himself and said that a person who does not speak English very well can still make a lot of money in the United States. Li Changyu briefly introduced his experience of success in the United States. The professional creed of "everything impossible becomes possible" runs through his career. There are many wonderful cases. The 1993 murder case in Chicago that killed seven people demonstrated Detective Li's extraordinary abilities. When the police could hardly find any clues and were overwhelmed, Li Changyu found the key clue to solving the case in the trash can. That was a few pieces of leftover chicken. Through the invoice for purchasing chicken, the chicken wings were eaten and the chicken breasts were left, which also allowed Detective Li to predict that the murderer was an ethnic group who likes black chicken, and finally solved this huge murder case. "Speaking with facts and returning the truth" is what he has been working hard to do in his life. Li Changyu's speech set an example for many young judicial personnel present here.

Executive Committee of the Asian American Bar Association
That night, the members of the executive committee of the Asian American Bar Association were sworn in under the leadership of the Chinese female judge Zhou Yading.
The most lively scene at the scene was the auction of Professor Li Changyu's books. As scholarships for young people, four young people, Soo Chang, Jeremiah Chin, Sheila Gholkar, and Frances Shinn-Eckbery, won scholarships from the Asian American Bar Association in 2012. They will also use their hard work to repay the society and open up their own judicial path.

At the end of the event, Kang Mingyi, Chairman of the Asian American Lawyers Association, thanked members and friends for their long-term support, and we will meet again next year.
