(Contributed by Cui Zengqi, the Alberta Overseas Chinese Federation) On the evening of July 13, Main St. in Mesa City shines... The street lights of St. shine with a strange light, and there is an endless stream of pedestrians on the street. Today is the day when Mesa City showcases galleries and businesses. Shops on both sides of the road are open to welcome customers. On the sidewalk, many stalls display a variety of exquisite crafts, and there is a strong artistic atmosphere everywhere. On this street, there was an art and jewelry store that opened that day. After being contacted by Mrs. April, the outstanding works of the Youth National Day Art Exhibition organized by the Phoenix Overseas Chinese Federation on July 4 were moved to this store to participate in the exhibition. Each work once again shows Chinese teenagers' praise of American history, democracy, and freedom. Lin Xuan, an independent painter and associate professor who once taught at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, and Su Zhiying from Xiaosu Studio also organized nearly 20 students to perform painting performances on site. They painted one beautiful picture after another in front of the logo of the Phoenix Overseas Chinese Federation, attracting many people to stop and watch. People expressed their appreciation and admiration for the children's works from time to time. This art activity organized by the Overseas Chinese Federation has added a new highlight to the Meisha community and is also very popular among local Chinese. Many parents accompanied their children to paint and enthusiastically provided services to them. Volunteers from the Overseas Chinese Federation also worked hard in preparing for the exhibition. People hope that the Phoenix Overseas Chinese Federation will hold more activities like this, which will not only promote Chinese culture, but also provide children with opportunities to show their talents, contact and understand the MESA SOLID ROCK society, and help young people grow up healthily.

The exhibition will last until July 21st. Everyone is welcome to visit.
