New Oriental Art School held a new school year teacher work meeting (picture) (Hehe Report) At 7 pm on August 1, 2012, New Oriental Art School held a new school year teacher work meeting in the school to arrange the teaching work of the new school year and arrange the Mid-Autumn Festival report performance and art exhibition. In addition to classroom teachers, many school administrators attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Principal Lu Lihua. The meeting topics are divided into three parts. Principal Lu first reviewed and summarized the school's teaching work in the past school year, summed up experience and identified shortcomings; then deployed and arranged the teaching and management work in the new school year; and finally put forward specific requirements for teachers in each subject in terms of teaching objectives and labor discipline. Principal Lu Lihua spoke (left) Principal Lu once again emphasized the purpose and significance of New Oriental Art School at the meeting. She said, we are Chinese and we must have our own voice in the United States. Therefore, from a large perspective, the purpose of our school is to "inherit Chinese civilization and create a better future"; from a small perspective, it is to let our children understand and understand Chinese culture and art, and enhance their national self-esteem, self-confidence and pride as the descendants of the Chinese people. In addition, as a member of the Chinese community in Alberta, New Oriental Art School should do its best to contribute to enhancing the cohesion of the Chinese community. Principal Lu emphasized the importance of teaching quality to the school many times at the meeting. She said that teaching quality is the foundation of the school. We must ensure that children succeed in learning and that parents can send their children with confidence. Working meeting scene As we all know, the strength of New Oriental Art School is the teaching of Chinese folk dance. They have a very excellent professional dance teaching team. Qiu Xiaorong, Hu Qiuzi, Liu Ou, Chen Si and other teachers who have received professional dance education have always been the backbone of the New Oriental teaching team. In addition, the newly joined teacher Chen Weiping this year graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy and is an associate professor of the Dance Department of the Conservatory of Music of Central China Normal University. She once served as the department director. At the same time, New Oriental also offers Latin dance classes taught by Americans CHUC ERICSEN and Wen Linling, which are also very popular in the community. At the recent Alberta Chinese Beauty Pageant, the Latin dance performed by eight teachers and students from New Oriental left a deep impression on the audience. What's more worth mentioning is that the school has opened belly dance courses. Belly dance is a dance that is currently popular all over the world and perfectly combines women's weight loss with fitness and improvement of women's body, mind and spirit. This course will be taught by Tang Ke, a famous Chinese belly dance performing artist. In the new school year, New Oriental will also offer ballet classes and modeling classes for the purpose of training on appearance. In addition, the teaching of martial arts classes is also very unique. This year it will continue to be hosted by Master Shi Yanqing, a monk from Shaolin Temple. Piano lessons also continue to be provided by young piano performing artist Ye Qingqing. The school has especially strengthened the teaching of art classes in its work arrangements for the new school year. Two new teachers have joined the teaching staff in the new school year. The famous artist Xu Weidong, in addition to teaching painting classes, also offers clay sculpture classes that are very popular among children. Teacher MINA graduated from ASU with a major in fine arts and has a high professional level. The two teachers are a powerful combination, which gives us reason to believe that the art classes in the new school year will be refreshing for all students and parents in the community. The next work of New Oriental Art School is to prepare for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival report performance and art exhibition. On September 30, the school will hold its annual report performance and painting exhibition at the CHANDLER Art Center. The entire evening will be staffed entirely by students and cadets. Every child and student in the school is required to participate, and they will report to their parents and the community on their learning achievements during the year in singing, dancing, martial arts and piano. At the same time, before the party begins, the school will hold an art exhibition in the front hall of the performance hall, with works created by the school's students themselves. While teaching, New Oriental Art School is also very enthusiastic about public welfare. A Chinese library has been opened in the school, which is open to the Chinese community. At the same time, the school also calls on everyone to donate old books, magazines and audio-visual products that are not used at home to the school library so that more Chinese people can benefit. What's more worth mentioning is that New Oriental Art School will open a "New Oriental Culture Forum" in the school, which will be held once a week and will be lectured mainly by well-known scholars and cultural celebrities in Alberta. At the same time, we will also provide opportunities for everyone who is willing to come to the forum to share their stories, experiences and insights. At the meeting, each teacher and administrator discussed their teaching arrangements and work priorities in the new school year. The teachers are full of confidence in the future of New Oriental Art School.
