Celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The overseas Chinese community in Phoenix held a flag-raising ceremony on September 15

In order to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and wish the motherland increasing prosperity, the overseas Chinese community in Phoenix decided to hold a ceremony to raise the national flags of China and the United States at 9 a.m. on September 15, 2012 at the American Legion Arizona Department of Arizona (address: 4701 N 19th Ave Phoenix AZ 85015). On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China in 2009, the overseas Chinese community in Phoenix jointly held a flag-raising ceremony to express the overseas Chinese's love for the motherland. The motherland is becoming stronger through continuous development, which makes us overseas Chinese feel proud and proud. In the early 1990s, Sino-US relations were still developing. The United States has only nearly a thousand companies in China, with an investment of only US$4 billion. By 2012, there were 5,400 companies in Alberta alone with business ties to China, and Governor Jan Brewer has visited the People's Republic of China again and again. The local overseas Chinese community loves the motherland and has held "China Week" activities over the years to promote Chinese culture. Whenever the motherland encounters a major disaster, the overseas Chinese will definitely carry out disaster relief activities and support reconstruction efforts. After the Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan, overseas Chinese in Alberta generously donated money and contacted mainstream society in the United States to launch a donation campaign. A total of more than 250,000 yuan was raised and donated to Sichuan's post-disaster reconstruction. In 2008, China hosted the Olympic Games for the first time. Overseas Chinese were delighted. Overseas Chinese in Alberta actively donated money to build the "Water Cube" venue and cheered for the achievements of Chinese athletes in the Olympics. This year, the overseas Chinese community in Phoenix held a joint flag-raising ceremony to express their love for the motherland and hope that China and the United States will have more comprehensive cooperation in various fields around the world. The harmonious coexistence of the two countries is of great significance to world peace. Overseas Chinese are devoted to their motherland and love their hometown, and will celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. In order to express its importance to the flag-raising ceremony of the overseas Chinese in Alberta, the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles has sent a congratulatory letter and sent Deputy Consul General Bian Lixin, Consul Xu Cuiying and Consul Bai Dongshi to attend the ceremony. I hope that the old overseas Chinese, new overseas Chinese, and compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao in Phoenix will attend on time, participate in the flag-raising ceremony, and witness this solemn moment in history.
