>The Year of the Snake is approaching, and the Alberta Spring Festival Gala will meet you again on the first day of the Lunar New Year. This year’s Spring Festival Gala will be jointly hosted by New Oriental Art School and the ASU Confucius Institute, and has received the widest support and recognition from all walks of life in the Chinese community.

Currently, more than 200 cast and crew are working together to turn this year's Spring Festival Gala into a large-scale variety show integrating vocal music, instrumental music, dance, martial arts, and skills. This year’s Spring Festival Gala is rich in content, diverse in form, and highly comprehensive and entertaining. In addition to New Oriental's own programs, the American community, Chinese community and Chinese artists will all join.

This year’s Spring Festival Gala will have new breakthroughs in lighting, sound, and stage design. The audience will see the perfect combination of traditional Chinese elements and modern Western elements in this party. At the party, there were both traditional folk song and dance performances and modern Western instrumental music performances; there were lively martial arts stunts and funny musical sketches; there were both children's choruses by American children and adult actors singing and dancing on the same stage.

Last year's Year of the Dragon Spring Festival Gala held at the CHANDLER Grand Theater set a box office record for the theater. After all the tickets were sold out, people kept calling to ask for tickets. On the day of the performance, many audiences were waiting outside the theater. It can be described as an unprecedented event. I believe that the audience still remembers the grand occasion of last year’s Spring Festival Gala, so let us look forward to the upcoming Spring Festival Gala of the Year of the Snake!
