(Reported by Wang Jin) On January 24, 2013, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce held a legal knowledge lecture at the Arizona State University School of Law. This lecture mainly talked about several aspects related to savvy in the business world and the Chinese community. The lecture was opened by Douglas Sylvester, Dean of the School of Law, and moderated by former MP Mr. Barry Wong.

Lawyer Wu Zhaowen, Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, first introduced commercial law and introduced the differences between the Chinese and American judicial systems. At the same time, lawyer Wu Zhaowen focused on analyzing the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act based on several cases in recent years, and discussed the impact of this act with law students. Later, lawyer Kristofer Halvorson explained legal knowledge about patents and trademarks. Attorney Halvorson introduced in detail the latest trends in patents and trademarks in China and the United States in recent years, and explained to the business people present the intellectual property-related situations and solutions that American companies often encounter when expanding their business in China. Finally, lawyer Dai Xuezheng introduced immigration law. As more Chinese come to the United States to study, visit, and immigrate, immigrating to the United States has become a topic of more and more people's attention. Attorney Dai Xuezheng introduced the history and current situation of immigration, and explained some of the current common immigration methods.
