(Contributed by the Alberta Hualian) After successfully hosting the "2012 Alberta Hualien First Tennis Open" last year, the Alberta Hualian Association held the 2012 Alberta Hualian Tennis Open at Chandler High School and Hamilton High School respectively on March 9 and March 17 this year. The "Second Asia Hualien Tennis Open" was once again successfully held. This competition attracted the participation of more than 30 tennis players, with a wide age range. The youngest player was only 12 years old, and the oldest player was nearly 60 years old. This tennis open provided a platform for tennis enthusiasts to gather together and take advantage of this rare opportunity to enjoy the fun of tennis again. The Tennis Open was hosted by the Alberta Hualien. Wang Weizi, the director of the Alberta Hualian, worked with Coach Li and Zhang Haibiao to provide professional event organization: including the arrangement of the schedule, the format and rules of the competition, etc. The Alberta Hualian and the organizers of this open would also like to thank Professional Tennis Management, PTM, Services (www.tennislessonsaz.com) for sponsoring this tennis open. After two weekends of fierce competition in the semi-finals, the championship and runner-up of each group are determined. The results of the competition are now announced as follows. Men's singles: Champion-Zhang Haibiao, runner-up-Zhu Ting. Men's doubles: Champion-Wang Weizi/Mike Liu, runner-up-Zhu Ting/Jason Leong. Women's singles: champion-Thi Diep, runner-up-Ms. Sato. Mixed doubles: champion-Thi Diep/Fuyou Liu, runner-up-Ms. Sato/Jason. Leong
