(News from this website) Arizona State University (ASU) and National Central University of Taiwan officially signed a contract to become sister universities in Taipei on March 31 by the presidents of both parties, Dr. Michael Crow and Dr. Zhou Jingyang.

This is one of the three sister schools Arizona State University plans to establish in Taiwan. National Taiwan University and Tsinghua University will sign contracts one after another. Yin Yanhuan, chairman of the Taiwan-Asia Science and Technology Exchange Society, said that this time it was possible to establish a sister school between the two schools. He was very grateful to Director Gong Zhongcheng and Team Leader Zhang Yangzhan of the Taipei Cultural Affairs Office in Los Angeles for their support and assistance. In the future, the Taiwan-Asia Science and Technology Exchange Society will play a more active role in promoting science and technology exchanges between Taiwan and Asia. Yin Yanhuan, a senior overseas Chinese leader and currently a director of the Arizona State University Foundation, will accompany the entire delegation to visit Taiwan and is scheduled to meet with President Ma Ying-jeou on April 1. Yin Yanhuan said that during this summer vacation, Taiwan will have a high-level technology delegation visit the United States, and Phoenix will be the first stop.
