More than 400 guests gathered together on May 11 to participate in this year's Asia Pacific Community Promotion Association's "Asian Cuisine" fundraising dinner held at the Double Tree Resort in Scottsdale. In addition to recognizing the Asia Pacific Community Promotion Association's efforts in serving the community over the years, this year's special praise was given to Dr. Candace Lew, Chinese Chief Justice Ms. Deng Zhou Yading and Ethel Ms. Luzario for the contributions of three outstanding women in different fields. That night, Luk Fook Seafood Restaurant, Taiwanese Food, Blue Sky Restaurant, Xinxin Supermarket, Cherry Blossom, Guru Palace, Koryo Korean BBQ, Seksun Sushi, Thai Spices, unPhogettable and other restaurants provided a variety of delicious snacks and snacks to satisfy the guests. There were a dazzling array of items in the silent price auction, and there were many people grabbing bids. I am extremely grateful to all the restaurants and friends who assisted for their full support. I am also very grateful to major sponsors including Wells Fargo Bank, 3000 Club and Magellan of Arizona. During the dinner, wonderful talent performances took turns, including enthusiastic performances by Chloe Tang and Ms. Aaliyah Bancord, Mr. Chaucer Le and the 5-Foots Thrillaz breakdance group. Ms. Lucy Chen's "Peacock Soul" dance was the most popular. Thank you for their efforts in this fundraising evening. This year's gala was a complete success, and every participant played an important role in it, which also represented the unity and cohesion of Asian and Pacific Islander compatriots.
