(Contributed by New Oriental Art School) The annual Mid-Autumn Festival brings together the great reunions of thousands of families, and also brings together Chinese people who have lived overseas for a long time to enjoy the full moon with their relatives far away and spend a traditional festival belonging to our nation. New Oriental Art School takes advantage of the Mid-Autumn Festival. After several months of preparation, all teachers and students presented a Chinese dance that encompasses the unique dance skills and artistic charm of many ethnic groups in China. This party was to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and to report on the school’s teaching results. Different from the Spring Festival Gala, this performance is an annual teaching report performance, focusing on students' learning results, dance technical skills and artistic performance levels. After several years of dance study and many large-scale evening exercises, the students' dance performance level has been greatly improved. This evening, some students will perform solo and group dances. In order to improve the basic skills of dance more quickly, many students choose basic dance skills strengthening classes. They worked tirelessly to practice twice as long every week, so that these students have outstanding performance abilities with obvious dance technical skills. At this party, they will present their extraordinary performance to parents and the audience. Please look forward to the Chinese dance event during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Performance time: September 14, 7:00 pm (Saturday) Performance location: Mesa Art Center (Mesa Art Center) Sponsorship ticket: $5 For details, please call: 602-490-8613
