The well-known Taiwanese photographer Mr. Liu Senyun was warmly invited by the Asian Asian Photography Association of Asia and Phoenix Chinese School. "Today's photography is no longer a competition of digital equipment, but a competition of photographers' photography concepts." The first words of Teacher Liu Senyun's lecture were refreshing to all the guests. Through his works shot in Arizona, other cities in the United States, and Taiwan, Mr. Liu Senyun discusses with photography enthusiasts how to use composition, lighting and other means to express the photographer's ideas.

Teacher Liu (first from the left) talks about a seascape picture taken in North America

The uniqueness of this photo is that you can clearly see the water patterns of the waves and the water patterns on the beach, intertwined and intertwined. Usually photography enthusiasts like to take pictures of seascapes on the beach. This photo was taken of the sea view from the bridge, not from a horizontal angle, but from a vertical angle. Teacher Liu showed us different perspectives to see the sea. What you see in the photo is the seascape formed by points, lines and surfaces.

Introducing the architecture of a City Hall in North America

This is a large wide-angle shot of the interior of the building. The perspective effect formed by the arches gives a great sense of space. This is the work of Mr. Liu Yunsen, a professional architectural photographer. What particularly surprised the guests was that the large wide angle not only fully expressed the sense of space, but also did not cause the deformation of objects. Teacher Liu said it was because the angle he was standing on was on the second floor. This angle could straighten the deformed lines. At the same time, in the middle of the hall, the blurred portraits walking around highlight the contrast of the space and serve as the finishing touch to this photo.

Fast-speed shooting effect

Slow-speed and fast-speed shooting will produce very different effects. If you zoom in infinitely on this quick photo, you can see very beautiful lines. Quickly shoot, you can see the agility and jumping of the water at a glance, and the photos are vivid. The slow-speed shooting makes the moving water look soft and dreamy. The same object and different shooting methods can express different qualities and visual emotions of water.

>Teacher Liu’s lectures are as simple and sincere as his works, allowing photography enthusiasts to clearly understand the concept of photography technology serving the concept of photography through photos.

This is the third time Teacher Liu Senyun has come to Phoenix City. When the reporter asked about the different feelings after coming to Phoenix City so many times, Teacher Liu smiled and said that it was different every time. The saying truly comes true: There is always a different world in the eyes of a photographer. We look forward to the Alberta Photography Association bringing more exciting professional lectures to photography enthusiasts.
