This group was established in Phoenix, Arizona in 2009 by teacher Gu Yayu and a group of Chinese who are dedicated to promoting choral music. It currently has nearly 30 regular members, who are from mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Everyone gets along in harmony and sings the songs of their hometown to express their homesickness. In addition to holding regular concerts over the years, it has also been invited by other performing groups to participate in community art activities. In addition to his activities in Phoenix, he also went to Seattle to perform with the Fusion Singers. Here are some examples of performances that will be launched in the near future: the annual performance - Ode to Peace - "The Embrace of Grace" will be held at the Chandler Arts Center on November 15, 2014; a Chinese New Year performance with the Chandler Symphony Orchestra at the Chandler Arts Center on January 30 and 31 at Tucson Centennial Hall; and a small spring choral performance on April 25, 2015. Chorus conductor Ms. Gu Yayu is also the artistic director of this group. She also serves as the artistic director and conductor of the "Seattle Fusion Choir", "Seattle Chinese Chorus" and conductor of the "Xihua Art Ensemble". She has outstanding talents, rich experience and extraordinary abilities. She is not only a coloratura soprano, but also a vocal music professor. Under her in-depth and simple teaching, the members of the troupe will be able to sing like a fish in water and enjoy themselves.
