Charity comes rain or shine, Tzu Chi Phoenix City raises 45,000 yuan (photo gallery) On September 27th, Tzu Chi Foundation Phoenix Liaison Office held a charity fund-raising party for the "Great Love in the World"...
On September 27, Tzu Chi Foundation Phoenix Liaison Office organized a charity fund-raising dinner party for the "Great Love Full World" at the club. It was raining heavily that day, but nearly a hundred eminent persons from all walks of life still gathered at the gathering place and raised a total of more than 45,000 US dollars. Some of the eminent persons’ donations are still being sent to Tzu Chi.
At 6 pm, after the heavy rain in Phoenix, the Tzu Chi Phoenix Liaison Office was still in good order. In order to ensure that the evening meal could be cooked on time, the brothers and sisters of Tzu Chi did not dare to neglect at all in carrying the ingredients in the heavy rain. Many of the special ingredients were specially customized and delivered by Xinxin Supermarket from California. The more meticulous services are even more touching. Due to heavy rain, the original parking space was already full of water. After the brothers and sisters finished transporting the ingredients, they quickly drove away and parked elsewhere, leaving more convenient parking spaces for the great men who came to participate in the event tonight.

Senior Brother Lai Jiayi and Senior Sister Chen Ciyu hosted this fundraising dinner. Sister Cai Citao, the person in charge of Tzu Chi’s Phoenix City Liaison Office, introduced what Tzu Chi had done in 2014 to the eminent disciples. First, as has been the case for 18 years, we have promoted four major undertakings: charity, medical care, education and humanities. Low-income families can go to Tzu Chi to receive fresh food every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and hot vegetarian food is delivered to the homeless in the park every Thursday. Every year, local medical personnel are invited to provide one or two free physical examinations for people without medical insurance. The intensive class teaches children Chinese and guides citizens to promote concepts such as environmental protection and vegetarianism to protect health. Tzu Chi is concerned about the safety of the world. In 2014, when Kaohsiung, Taiwan was violently angry, the overseas Chinese community donated money to Tzu Chi to help.
