That night, "The Dark Color", "Waiting Alone" and "Traveling in the Sand". The nearly one-and-a-half-hour wonderful performance allowed everyone to see a different China. Mr. Cao Chengyuan, the founder of the dance company, was interviewed by a reporter from the "Sunbird" Arizona Chinese Network. He said that "Thunder World" is to let Western friends see modern China. We are no longer like the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. Most of what we are facing now is Western. People in other countries encounter the same problems: environmental problems, traffic problems, getting along with others, and communication problems. We use the form of dance to tell everyone what the Chinese people are thinking now.

This is the opening dance of the 2013 Chinese Dance Weekend and is deeply loved by the audience. The work "Predestined Darkness" focuses on the relationship between people and the relationship between people and the environment. It is dramatically interpreted through the creative and action methods of Sand Dance Theater. The work has toured more than a dozen cities in five countries, including Germany, Mexico, Poland, and Latvia, and has conquered the world's audiences with its strong dramatic tension and stage visual effects. As dancer Cao Chengyuan said, Chinese modern dance is even more open than Western modern dance, more daring to express, and not limited to genres, allowing everyone to feel the vibrant scene of modern China. In the future, he hopes to have more exchanges and cooperation with local dance schools to cultivate more talents for modern dance.
