Shanghai's popular "folk comedian" Cai Galiang performs a talk show in Phoenix City (picture) Alberta Times Cai Galiang, a well-known "folk comedian" from Shanghai, led a five-member band to North America for the first time. He came to Phoenix on the evening of May 14th and 15th and held two performances at Luk Fook Restaurant and Blue Sky Restaurant, with an audience of nearly 400 people. Cai Galliang's unique music talk show performance has opened the eyes of the overseas Chinese in Phoenix. His fluent Mandarin, Shanghainese and salty Cantonese, he sings, performs and speaks, bringing unique joy to the audience. His humorous and intelligent language allows the audience to laugh while experiencing the various flavors of life. Cai Galiang said: Our lives need more laughter and more family affection. Therefore, the main theme of this performance is "Laughing about Life" - "Mom and Me" - the best gift for my mother on Mother's Day this year!
