Deng Wen On July 11, the temperature in Phoenix reached more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The weather was very hot, but it could not compare with the enthusiasm of relatives and friends of the Fei Ni Ying Tuan Industrial and Commercial Branch and the Fei Ni Huang Clan Congregation, because on this day they welcomed Premier Liang Ning, Deputy Prime Minister Liu Ronghao, Elder Li Biao, Speaker Huang Ronghui, Secretary Tan Rongfu and other leaders of the Ying Tuan Federation of Industry and Commerce, as well as the Huang family members from all over the United States. The two presidents of the Clan Association, Huang Zhigang and Huang Xianyang, came out to inspect Phoenix City. It was a coincidence. The Feiniyingduan Industrial and Commercial Branch and the Feinihuang Clan Association were originally from the same family. This year, the heads of the two conferences coincided and chose to visit Phoenix City at the same time. To welcome the arrival of the leaders, the two conferences jointly held a public banquet at the "Huang Xiong Restaurant" on the evening of the 11th. The guests that night included Yu Wenjin, a senior overseas Chinese leader; Deng Chaoju, chairman of the Phoenix Overseas Chinese Federation, and Yu Changcun, Zhang Huafang, Deng Qingfen, vice presidents; Wang Wei, Wang Ting and Zhu Jiayou, the heads of the Arizona branch of the Central Party Committee of the Kuomintang; and Yu Wenze, chairman and vice chairman of Yu Fengcaitang. More than a dozen relatives of the Yu family, including Mr. and Mrs. Yu Zizhong and Mrs. Yu Wenyu; Mr. and Mrs. Lu Shaoming, a tycoon in the Phoenix restaurant industry; Guan Zongren, the honorary president of the Kaiping Mutual Aid Association of Alberta; Overseas Chinese Affairs Consultant Gao Zhi Zhong; Deng Lingjie, editor-in-chief of the Alberta Times; Fang Huixian, president of the American and Spanish Overseas Chinese Newspaper; Wang Shuying, president of the Asian American Newspaper; philanthropist Hu Shoubai; Huang Suzhen and his wife, the owners of Jinlong Jewelry Store, etc. Mrs. Huang Dingbang, the president of Feiniyingduan Industrial and Commercial Branch, delivered a welcome speech. On behalf of the Two Sessions, she expressed her warmest welcome to all the chiefs who came from afar. She expressed her deepest respect and heartfelt thanks to the chiefs for their guidance during the tour! Sister-in-law Huang Dingbang mentioned that it was really a coincidence that the heads of the two associations arrived in this city at the same time. She said that we all came together for the common goal of harmony, stability, and prosperity of the overseas Chinese community. Therefore, we must achieve true unity and work together for the development of the overseas Chinese community on the basis of mutual respect for each other. Sincere unity and mutual respect are the foundation of the development of the overseas Chinese community. We hope that everyone will work together to achieve this goal! Then Premier Liang Ning, President Huang Zhigang, Vice Prime Minister Liu Ronghao, and President Huang Xianyang delivered speeches successively. All the leaders expressed their gratitude to the Phoenix clan members for their warm reception, and wished everyone good health and a happy life. They hoped that the overseas Chinese community in Phoenix would unite and cooperate and continue to grow and develop. Deng Chaoju, chairman of the Phoenix Overseas Chinese Federation, delivered a speech. On behalf of the 18 groups of the Phoenix Overseas Chinese Association, he extended a warm welcome to the leaders. After Huang Zhenjie, chairman of the Feini Huang Clan Association, gave a speech of thanks, the dinner officially began. The dinner was sumptuous and delicious, carefully arranged by Huang Xiong, the owner of the restaurant and vice president of the Feini Yingduan Industrial and Commercial Branch. The delicious wine and food were full of praise. The atmosphere of the party was harmonious. Everyone ate, sang and talked, and laughed one after another. At the end, the elders and staff of the two sessions happily took photos with the heads of state.
