Professor Sweeley won the "Outstanding Educator" Award from the Province of Alberta (Photo) Alberta Times Professor Sweeley, Dean of the School of Catering and Culinary Arts Management at the University of the Arts Tucson, won the "Outstanding Educator" Award from the Vocational Education Committee of the Alberta Education Bureau for 2010-2011. The award was presented at the committee's annual luncheon at the Loes Ventana five-star hotel in Tucson on July 18. In recent years, Professor Sweili has spared no effort in training vocational education teachers and counseling high school and college students entering vocational education, and is deeply respected by the state government education bureau and vocational education professional institutions. Professor Sweeley is the first Asian to receive this honor.
