Overseas Chinese affairs consultants Yu Wenjin and Yin Yanhuan, Chairman of the Federation of Chinese Overseas Chinese Leagues in Greater Phoenix City (Overseas Chinese Federation) Deng Chaoju, Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee member Gao Zhizhong, Overseas Chinese Affairs consultants Wang Weiting and Li Linglin, Overseas Chinese Affairs Promotion Committee Wang Shuying, and volunteers who prepared the event all attended the meeting. The "Wonderful 100" Taiwan Double Ten celebration activities at the preparatory meeting have been basically confirmed. The first part is the "Chiang Ching-kuo Military Life Photo Exhibition" which will be held at 10 a.m. on August 14th at the Kang Le Building. This photo exhibition is hosted by the Honor Society (Taiwan Overseas Veterans Association). One hundred photos from the "Two Chiangs" period were brought from Taiwan, reflecting the various important military activities Chiang Ching-kuo participated in from 1949 to the 1970s, including photos of his life in Kinmen and Mazu. Among them, many pictures are displayed to the public for the first time, which is a rare and good opportunity to understand history. On the day of the event, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the Kangle Building. The event organizers have also prepared 100 exquisite souvenirs to give to the first 100 friends who come to visit. The second major event is at 6:00 pm on September 28. Taiwan’s famous Chinese Orchestra will hold the “Brilliant 100, Music Spreading Around the World” party at Arcadia High School in Phoenix. The orchestra has a total of 24 people, and 17 people participated in the performance. All performers are well-known singers and performers in Taiwan. Qiu Shunxiong, the person in charge of the party group, Wang Weiting of the reception group, Li Linglin and Wang Ruijin of the reception group made reports, and the preparations were all in progress. The ASU Taiwan Student Association will also invite the two contestants with the best scores in the 2011 Karaoke Competition to perform warm-up performances for the party. They will compete on the spot to select the overall champion of the 2011 ASU Taiwan Student Karaoke Competition. There will also be a raffle with generous prizes at the party. The first prize is a round-trip air ticket from Los Angeles to Taipei, as well as DVDs and home appliances and many other expensive gifts. That night, Overseas Chinese Affairs Consultant Zhang Qingling took the lead in donating "Han Jade frames", and "Yes I do" donated a hand-made cheongsam. At the same time, San Diego Overseas Chinese Committee member Huang Lili and Chuan Jiakang expressed their sponsorship of a beautiful gift. Anyone who has a ticket has a chance to win the grand prize. This performance is divided into VIP tickets and ordinary tickets. VIP tickets are $100. VIP audiences can not only sit in the best seats during the performance, but also attend a VIP tea party before the performance. Ordinary tickets only require an event sponsorship fee of 5 yuan.
