The 2011 Phoenix Chinese Character Cultural Festival was hosted by the Chinese Language Institute of Alberta. From February to September, a series of various activities were held to celebrate the wonderful centenary. All activities were very successful. The various activities of the Phoenix Chinese Character Cultural Festival combine the Chinese society and mainstream society to jointly promote Chinese character culture, Chinese culture, and promote multicultural exchanges. In 2011, the Phoenix Chinese Character Culture Festival went to dozens of mainstream schools in the United States, including universities, middle schools, elementary schools, and kindergartens, to provide voluntary Chinese character culture teaching, Chinese culture promotion, Taiwanese folklore talent guidance, multicultural exchanges, and held American school students' calligraphy competitions, Chinese painting competitions, children's song and poem recitations, Chinese character bingo games, writing Chinese characters auspicious phrases, and Chinese festival activities and Chinese food tastings. In 2011, the Phoenix Chinese Character Cultural Festival celebrated the Chinese Character Cultural Festival with a thousand girl guides in Alberta; held Chinese character cultural activities on the International Children's Day with more than 10,000 children in Phoenix and neighboring cities; and held Chinese character cultural activities with more than 8,000 students in Phoenix The Phoenix City Government cooperates in organizing Chinese character culture activities in the multi-cultural activities of the Phoenix City Government to jointly promote Chinese character culture and Chinese culture. At the same time, the Chinese Character Culture Festival also cooperates with Central and Western University of Alberta and Alberta State University to jointly promote Chinese character culture, Chinese culture and conduct multicultural exchanges with thousands of college students. In 2011, the Chinese Character Culture Festival held the Chinese Character Culture Taiwan Folk Art Competition in Chinese schools, and jointly organized a Chinese festival poster competition for Chinese school students with Phoenix Chinese School. Each winning student received a certificate, medal, and exquisite academic prizes. All the activities held by the Phoenix Chinese Character Culture Festival in 2011 were a success. They successfully promoted Chinese character culture, Chinese culture, and Taiwanese folk customs. At the same time, they also combined with the mainstream to jointly promote Chinese character culture, spread Chinese culture, and promote multicultural exchanges. Thank you very much. Thanks to the support of the Taipei Sister City Committee of the Phoenix Sisters Association and the Orange County Cultural and Educational Center, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the volunteers, and to all the students, teachers and parents who participated, the 2011 Phoenix Chinese Character Cultural Festival was such a diverse, rich and outstanding success.
