At 2:00 pm on December 17, the Arizona Chapter of the World Chinese Business Women Business Association held a special lecture on taxation and business law at the Chinese Cultural Center Shiweitian Restaurant. Ma Changhua, who has 20 years of professional experience as an accountant, and Kang Mingyi, a lawyer specializing in commercial law, gave wonderful speeches to the Chinese people in Fengcheng. Nearly 50 guests came to the scene to listen, and everyone said they benefited a lot. The tax filing season for the 2012 New Year is about to begin. The Arizona Chapter of the World Chinese Business Women's Business Association hopes to provide practical services to overseas Chinese. They can make early preparations through experts' tips on how to "save taxes" and collect tax filing certificates due to avoid delays in filing taxes for any reason. Accountant Ma Changhua specializes in taxation in various industries and certain difficult international tax laws. She also has rich experience, especially how to save taxes. In a special speech on the 17th, she said that the current tax reduction policy for 2% of employees will continue until the end of this year. Whether it will continue next year, the relevant departments are still under discussion. Another question is how Chinese people who invest in houses can reasonably save taxes. Those with lower incomes will have a maximum exemption of 25,000 yuan in house management fees. But if customers with an income of more than 150,000 yuan can they also get part of the fee exemption? Accountant Ma said that you can deduct taxes by managing your own house and issuing 1099 forms to your employees. Accountant Ma also mentioned that the inheritance tax in the United States is very heavy. Each person can give gifts of 13,000 US dollars to others every year. These gifts are not tax-deductible, so the couple can give at least 26,000 US dollars in gifts to their children every year. Over time, they can transfer part of their assets to their children. Kang Mingyi, a famous lawyer with extensive experience in "commercial law", is very experienced in the legal business of commercial investment, signing, and contract execution. For example, if two people invest together, different company forms have different ways of protecting interests. For example, in Tenancy in Common, according to the law, the profits are divided among the participants in proportion. After the death of the shareholder, the remaining part can be inherited by relatives. Joint Tenancy with Right of Survivorship is different. After a shareholder dies, his shares will be diluted by the existing shareholders and cannot be passed on to his children or family members. When many companies are established, the form of the company must be considered, and all regulations must be written down in black and white. Lawyer Huang Huili, a new member of the Arizona Chapter of the World Chinese Business Women's Business Association, also reminded that in the United States, before obtaining a green card or nationality, you need to understand the U.S. tax laws first and do not proceed blindly. The experts' speeches made the atmosphere particularly lively. Everyone asked the professionals questions about tax or investment issues they encountered in life. Jian Ruixiang, the person in charge of GGG Flower Shop, a member of the Shihua Industrial and Commercial Women's Association, demonstrated to the guests how to decorate "flower arrangements" at home during Christmas and New Year and how to make a beautiful "corsage" by yourself when attending banquets, which is both cost-saving and elegant decoration. Delicious snacks and tea were provided on site, giving the guests a knowledge-rich, delicious and enjoyable afternoon.
