(Phoenix Chinese School Contribution) The 2012 spring class of Phoenix Chinese School has been registered and started on January 8th. The class location is still at Mesa Community College, and the time remains every Sunday afternoon from 1:30 to 3:30. In addition to Chinese teaching, there are extracurricular activities such as Chinese knotting, basketball, painting, line dancing, and guitar after class. This year, a new SATII math class is specially opened for students in grade seven and above. Phoenix Chinese School not only focuses on Chinese teaching, but also uses a variety of activities inside and outside the school to not only allow students to better understand Chinese culture, but also to unite teachers, students and parents. Then on January 29, our school will use the clock tower of the atrium of the Student Activity Center of Mesa Community College to hold a Spring Festival garden party from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm. Not only will enthusiastic parents provide traditional Chinese food, but teachers from each class will lead students to perform dragon and lion dances, singing and skits, etc. Everyone is welcome to come and give advice. If you want to know more about Phoenix Chinese School or want to join this big family, please contact the principal Cheng Xiuling (480-620-1982) or visit the school website (http://clsphoenix.org/).
