Phoenix Chen Shan Easter is the biggest holiday in the United States, although it seems that the spring banquet scene that was brought forward this year and the singing of the Christmas show at the end of last year are still fresh in my ears. The Rain or Shine Youth Choir has been established for 23 years. The preparations for its members to perform on stage on April 8 began a month and a half ago. Parents worked tirelessly to pick up and drop off, prepare food, and the children were never absent from every rehearsal. They worked hard on clothes, formations, props and other performances, brainstorming and reaching consensus, so the performance was indeed orderly, neat and exciting. If you don’t believe it, every performance is always packed, and the audience rushes to take photos. Many photography enthusiasts, carrying long guns and short cannons with professional equipment, rushed to the beach one after another. Because no one wants to miss this moment.

This year the church launched the Northwest Newsletter, a color special edition with 12 pages and 16 pages. This magazine has been in the pipeline for a long time and has been published in two issues. There are columns such as Gardener’s Voice, Our Home, Lingcheng Gongyin, and Editor’s Heart. Its emergence gave the church a heavyweight visual publicity forum. Through the lens of reporters and the editorial office and simple words, we learned that many large-scale activities of all ages have been organized in the past six months, such as the Autumn Carnival on October 29, "which is prepared for children under sixth grade. Teenagers in junior high and high schools help distribute food, host game projects, etc., allowing many friends to contact and enter society through this event." There was also a one-day restaurant fellowship Thanksgiving outing to as far away as the Hoover Dam, London Bridge and Lake Mead. "175 people were divided into three buses." The two churches cooperated to organize it for young and middle-aged people.

The exchange between the Guangdong Fellowship and the Guangzhou Church on April 19 this year was a successful trip to Guangzhou for the elderly and middle-aged people. This is a place and an era where women leaders emerge in large numbers. For example, Yu Yanfen, one of the founders of the church, is the first Asian female member of Parliament in Alberta. The second issue of the Northwest Newsletter even published an exclusive interview with her. There are also fluent self-reported essays by Zhang and Wen and a letter written by the father of a disabled daughter to his deceased daughter. These essays about life experiences are very real. In addition to young people going on missionary missions inside and outside the state last summer and fall, there is also a small northern fellowship that they can join. There are currently men's, women's, university, young people, mothers, adults, post-prayer fellowships, etc. The activity times are: Sunday morning, Wednesday evening, Thursday evening, Friday evening and Saturday odd and even week activities are arranged. Donate money and materials to add new clothes, etc. For details, please contact the Chinese and English pastor, young people pastor, children's ministry director, secretary, etc. Please see the list at the beginning of each month for event schedule.
