On October 27th, as usual, Phoenix Chinese School invited all the teachers, students, and parents of the school to hold an autumn barbecue event with the whole family at Arrowhead Meadows Park in Chandler City. The autumn air is crisp and the breeze is gentle. This event was planned by the Chinese Cultural Association and the Student Representatives Association of our school. Not only the teachers, students and their families of the school participated, but also Director Huang Shuangshuang of Hope Chinese School was present to participate in the grand event. The scene was warm and lively. Before ten o'clock, enthusiastic parents and students arrived at the park barbecue location one after another to prepare the venue. The brick pillars of the pavilion are decorated with pumpkins, elves, spider webs and black and orange ribbons, bringing out the atmosphere of this season. In addition, several large pumpkins, red maple leaves and cute scarecrows were added as a photography booth set up by student representatives. Director Xie Jianming brought his professional camera to take photos of teachers, students and their families dressed in Halloween costumes! The focus of the event is the food part that everyone is looking forward to. The tables are covered with diverse and delicious dishes, whether hot stir-fried, cold dishes, cold dishes, braised dishes, snacks, soups, as well as Chinese and Western desserts, all of which are mouth-watering. Of course, the tangy charcoal grilled burgers and hot dogs are also irresistible! The activity officially started at 11 o'clock. Under the planning of the Student Generation Association, the game stalls called on middle and senior students to lead the games. Whether it was Ring Toss, Face Painting, Candy Cups or Kick Ball, there were endless crowds of people. Children wearing Halloween costumes were shuttled among the game booths, playing games and taking candies. What could be more fun than this? !
At noon, everyone began to enjoy the food and chat and laugh, adding a warm feeling to the still warm autumn. After the meal, the lottery hosted by Principal Cheng Xiuling temporarily captured everyone's attention and Piwanta made the children laugh! The tug-of-war competition that made everyone excited reached a climax at the end of the event. Everyone roared and worked hard to bring the event to a happy ending!
