Phoenix Chinese Christian Church’s community medical services bear witness to God’s great love [Phoenix Chinese Christian Church reported by Fengming] At 8 o'clock in the morning on October 27, 2012, when I arrived at the church on time, I saw that the church's co-workers and volunteers were all in place, the tables and chairs had been placed, and everything was in order. The co-workers in charge of the reception warmly received each guest with a smile. According to the guest's request, they were brought to the table of each inspection item and lined up in an orderly manner. There were service staff to help fill in the required forms and wait for the inspection. This church community medical service was planned as early as three months ago. The church provided the venue and volunteers, and the Asia Pacific Community Promotion Association of Asia and Pacific Asia and KEEP Kidnry Early provided medical resources. The entire healthy community day provides "free breast and cervical cancer screening", "free kidney early assessment program" and "free flu vaccination" as well as blood pressure measurement, blood test, blood sugar and urine test, cholesterol level test, height and weight measurement and other services. This time the church community medical service, more than 60 co-workers from the church participated in the service, and the Asia Pacific Community Promotion Association of Asia invited more than 20 medical staff to participate. They arrived at the church at around 7 a.m. and worked at different positions until 1:00 p.m. The breast cancer and cervical cancer examinations were postponed until 5:00 pm. It took a long day of hard work, but each of them was very happy. Because according to incomplete statistics, 350 to 400 people have benefited. Among them, 160 beneficiaries had their blood pressure, blood tests, blood sugar, urine tests, and cholesterol levels measured, 43 received breast examinations, and more than 160 received influenza vaccines. These include Chinese, Koreans, Vietnamese, Mexicans and a handful of Americans. Most of them are community residents who immigrated to the United States, have no financial income, and need state assistance. Thank God, through the church’s community medical service this time, and through the love witnessed by medical staff and co-workers, community residents can feel the great love of the Lord, and then be willing to hear and accept the gospel.
