Nearly 600 people, including teachers and students of the school, parents of students and many social figures, participated in the event. The entire event consisted of three parts: theatrical performance, Chinese speech and Chinese culture knowledge competition. In the cultural performance part, there were wonderful performances, including modern dance, folk song and dance, and children's singing and dancing, which amazed the audience with their sweet and slightly immature singing voice, their seriousness and concentration. The expressions and joyful atmosphere infected everyone present. After the evaluation, a total of three classes won unanimous praise. The modern dance "Blooming" won the first place in the class, the Tibetan dance "Auspicious Ballad" won the second place in the class, and the sitcom "Little Bear Treats" won the third place in the class. In the end, the recitation of "Cooked Frog" won the first place in the class; the children's song performance "Happy Clap Song" won the second place in the class; and the poem recitation "The Sea" won the third place in the class. The students were performing a dance, choreographed by teacher He Chunling. In the Chinese culture knowledge competition, the students rushed to the front and spoke enthusiastically, reflecting their good traditional Chinese cultural literacy. The top three students in the group award were finally determined. Chen Yesheng, Chen Feiyu, and Zou Xutao won the first place in the group; Chen Zhuoting, Gao Rubi, and Rui Xuefei won the second place in the group; Fan Afu, Zeng Simon, and Chen Zisheng won the third place in the group. Everyone is having a dinner. In order to further promote the excellent Chinese culture and enhance the cultural identity of Chinese students, the Alberta Hope Chinese School holds traditional Chinese cultural and sports activities every year. This year’s event has received widespread attention and support from all walks of life. In addition to the active participation of the parents of the students, many organizations and their leaders such as the Chandler Human Relations Committee and Mesa Community College also participated.
