Citizens of Phoenix have to face subzero temperatures, and such low temperatures will continue until Wednesday. Temperatures will warm up Friday morning. Citizens have already felt the power of the cold wave this morning, with the highest temperature only around 50 degrees, and the highest temperature on Wednesday afternoon was 60 degrees. Many citizens saw frost on their lawns in the morning.
A cold snap hit the Navajo Indian enclave on Tuesday morning, and the Window Rock School District canceled classes for the day because the temperature was too low. The National Weather Service said the cold snap will remain in Northern Arizona through Wednesday. Temperatures in Window Rock will be cooler than Tuesday's 21 degrees, with temperatures as low as minus 5 degrees. Cities are also preparing clothing for homeless people and placing them in aid stations. Citizens also shared with each other tips on heating and keeping household flowers, plants and crops warm. In these few days, let’s experience winter in Phoenix!
