Dear friends,

On March 3, the Phoenix Chapter of the North American Professional Association of Scientists and Engineers (Science and Engineering College) invited everyone to climb the mountains in Usery Mountain Park and enjoy the bright spring scenery.

From central Phoenix, drive east on I-10 to Highway 60, exit at Ellsworth intersection and head north to the park entrance. Please see the link: http://www.maricopa.gov/parks/usery/directions.aspx

The activity can be divided into two teams:

Those with good endurance can take the Pass Mountain is about 7.5 miles

and there is a leisure route Blevins is about 3 miles

The two teams met at Picnic Place at 1:30 pm for lunch. Everyone can bring some of their specialty home-cooked dishes to share.

After hiking, let’s meet at Group Picnic Area (C&D) around 1:30 pm (see the link: http://www.maricopa.gov/parks/usery/pdf/2012/usery-close-up-3d.pdf ). Bring your delicious food for group sharing:)

If someone late, pls either catch us at Pass Mountain trial or Blevins, or any other one you like, KEEP IN MIND: Meet 1:30 pm at picnic area
