"US-China Culture and Art Exchange Association" is a multilingual association that establishes exchanges and friendships. This meeting will be given in English with Chinese translation.

Join us for our upcoming Artist Chat on Thursday, March 28th featuring guest artist, Priscilla Yuen (袁西义), who will be speaking on ‘THE WAYS WE MOVE: DANCE ACROSS BORDERS, BODILY AWARENESS AND APPROACHES TO LIVING A MORE GRACEFUL LIFESTYLE.’ 6:30PM, Phoenix Palace.

Key points to be addressed in the presentation: -Brief introduction to the conventions of dance styles: Origins, Influences of each. (Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip-hop, Contemporary, Folk/World, Performance Art, Dance for the Camera, Dance Installations) -Bodily awareness: Opposition in executing the breath and attention to proper alignment of the spine followed by the elongation of the head as a limb interconnected with the arms, hands, legs and feet. ACACX is a multi-lingual cultural friendly organization. This month’s topic will be given in English with Chinese translations.
