President Chen Zhigang told us that the members of the Arizona Sichuan-Chongqing Friendship Association were mainly from Sichuan and Chongqing when it was founded. The purpose was to promote Chinese culture, increase exchanges, and enhance friendship. Some gatherings are held every year to enrich everyone's spare time life. In recent years, because many people like to attend such gatherings, the number of members of the association has continued to increase. Members are not limited to Sichuan and Chongqing. Members come to all provinces, cities and regions in China, and there is no shortage of colorful and versatile talents. At each gathering, in addition to tasting the delicious dishes cooked by various households, and speaking freely, they can also enjoy wonderful cultural performances, such as playing the piano, playing the suona, playing the violin, singing, folk dancing, drumming performances, etc. The party also enjoyed live impromptu painting, Chinese Kung Fu performances and Sichuan Opera's unique "Face Changing" performance which received bursts of applause. The whole event was wonderful and filled with laughter and joy.
