Chinese Pinyin classes for middle-aged and elderly people are open. Everyone is welcome to attend. (Contributed by Cui Zengqi) Hanyu Pinyin is a scheme for spelling the pronunciation of Mandarin using Pinyin letters. It was developed by experts in Chinese language and writing who summarized the previous experience of pinyin recognition and studied the characteristics of various Pinyin characters around the world. Chinese Pinyin uses the internationally accepted Latin alphabet, spells it into syllables, and adds different tones to notate all Chinese characters, so as to obtain accurate pronunciation. It is an effective tool for learning to speak Chinese (Mandarin). In 1977, the United Nations Conference on the Standardization of Geographical Names decided to adopt Hanyu Pinyin as the international standard for spelling Chinese place names; in 1982, the International Organization for Standardization decided to adopt Hanyu Pinyin as the international standard for spelling Chinese place names. Chinese textbooks currently used in schools also use Hanyu Pinyin, and its application range is increasingly wide. It is widely used in Chinese teaching, book and newspaper publishing, indexing, Pinyin telegrams, flags, light signs, and commercial advertisements. Especially in computer cultural operations, you must learn to use Hanyu Pinyin. In order to help middle-aged and elderly friends catch up on the Chinese Pinyin lesson. The Chinese Senior Citizens Center will open a Chinese Pinyin workshop in the near future and has hired a senior Chinese teacher, Ms. Ha Xiuhuan, to teach. Starting from May 30th, classes will be held every Thursday from 9 am to 10 am, for a total of 15 classes.
