(Contributed by Wu Xiaoling) The students used a serious and positive attitude to develop the painting skills they have learned in daily life, and used their best creations to participate in this youth painting competition organized by the Overseas Chinese Federation. Their works show the community a happy and positive attitude and love for the land of Arizona. In the process of participating in this activity, the children's enthusiasm has been enthusiastically encouraged and affirmed by Mr. Cui Zengqi and Wan Peijie of the Overseas Chinese Federation from beginning to end. They can achieve such excellent results today, which is inseparable from their own efforts and the support and help of the organizers.

Taking advantage of this event, the Overseas Chinese Federation and Sunbird Network jointly launched the "Youth Painting Column". This is a very meaningful initiative. It will provide a platform for children to display their painting talents, and will also play an active role in activating the cultural life of the Chinese community. We will be very happy to participate in the display of works, discussion and interaction of opinions in this column.

As a painting teacher, nearly twenty years of teaching have convinced me that learning painting is conducive to the cultivation and improvement of children's observation, imagination, creativity and appreciation abilities. As a way of expressing the soul, it must have a subtle impact on enriching children's lives. Paintings are born from the heart, and paintings are the voice of the heart. Form is of course important. Without lines, colors, and composition, there is no painting. But with these, it is not painting. Only when "meaning" is established in "shape" can "shape" have the meaning of existence. "Conception" brings life to the painting form, which is far more important than the form itself.
