(Contributed by Hope Chinese School) 2013 is coming to an end, and the teaching work of Hope Chinese School is gradually coming to an end. December 11th is the last day of autumn teaching, and the school is still a busy scene, with no sign of slack. In the afternoon, Principal Xie Xiaohong and the teachers of the Chinese group held a summary meeting of Chinese teaching for this semester. They thanked all the teachers for their hard work and efforts for each child, and put forward higher requirements for Chinese education in the next semester. Encourage teachers to broaden their horizons and make teaching more interesting and practical. The plan provides strong support to teachers with supplementary materials and tools needed for teaching. Everyone had a heated discussion and offered suggestions on how to improve teaching standards and cultivate children's interest in learning in the next semester. He also provided many constructive suggestions on how to make full use of the Chinese library that our school is preparing to establish in teaching. Some teachers have planned to make full use of this batch of books as teaching reference during the holidays to supplement and enrich existing teaching materials.

In the lecture hall, Dr. Chen Pu gave calligraphy lectures to calligraphy enthusiasts in schools and communities - learning to write regular script, which was widely welcomed by calligraphy enthusiasts. After the lecture, Dr. Chen Pu personally gave everyone a writing demonstration. It was late and the sky was getting dark, but the music continued in the school's two dance studios. On the last day of all dance classes, I still worked overtime and rehearsed. Teacher He Chunling’s Chinese modern dance class, Teacher Jiang Lin’s Chinese folk dance class, and Teacher Tang Ke’s historical and cultural dance drama performance class were all very lively. The teachers teach with enthusiasm and the children practice actively. Let’s prepare programs together for the school’s Spring Festival Gala on January 25 next year and China Week in February. At the same time, the dance class opened its classroom to perform reports and performances for parents this semester.

A day of intense study and life is coming to an end. Volunteers, parents, teachers and children wish each other a happy holiday and cherish their farewells. They hope to meet again when school starts on January 11, 2014 and make progress together in the new year.

I also wish everyone a Merry Christmas, good health and all the best in the new year!
