From January 31st to February 9th, Yangzhou City, China was at Fountain Park, Fountain Hills, Arizona, USA. AZ) held a lantern festival, with a total of 20 sets of traditional lanterns displayed. Most of the lanterns are based on folk themes, such as fortune, longevity, the Eight Immortals, Sun Wukong, the Lucky Boy, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, etc. The height of the lanterns with various figures, flowers and architectural shapes ranges from 2 to 12 meters. The scene is brilliantly lit at night, with lotus lanterns in the water and fountains tens of meters high reflecting each other. Yangzhou lanterns represent the highest production level of Chinese lanterns and have the most powerful production lineup. It is also the largest lantern trip to the United States in recent years.

Local Chinese groups actively participated in the event, setting up stages at the exhibition venue to perform Shaolin martial arts, folk songs and dances, and there were also stalls for children's paradise, Chinese food, folk arts and crafts. The Yangzhou Lantern and Folk Festival allows Chinese and foreign friends in Alberta to have a better understanding of Chinese culture and art. Local co-organizer Deng Chaoju thanked the organizer and various sponsors, and also thanked the volunteers for their hard work in the event!
