Phoenix Fengming April 18th is Good Friday and April 20th is Easter. During this period, all Christians around the world are immersed in commemoration and joy. The Phoenix Chinese Christian Church held a series of commemorative activities during this period. Starting from the evening of Friday, April 18, there will be a Good Friday Eucharist service at 7:30 pm, a morning service from 6:30am-7:30am on Sunday, April 20, and a baptismal service from 7:30am-8:30am. Thank the Lord that 28 members were baptized in the morning service. The church celebrates this joyful day of rebirth with them. There are two Easter Divine Drama services at 9:30am and 11:15am respectively. On the Lord's Day, all services are joint Chinese and English services. The Divine Drama's song "Calvary Love" is selected.

We chose to attend the first Easter Sunday joint worship service. We thought we arrived very early, but as soon as we entered the parking lot, we found that the parking lot was full of cars. We found an empty seat near the side and parked. The car hurriedly greeted acquaintances and hurried to the church worship center. Fortunately, I found a seat in the middle and sat down. The band on the stage was already seated in an orderly manner. After a while, I looked back and saw that the seats were full of guests and friends. It started on time at 9:30am. Pastor Liu and Pastor Li co-hosted the joint worship service. They prayed and the congregation praised God together with the hymn "Rejoice, the Lord is King". The loud and high-pitched singing accompanied by the band filled the entire hall. The congregation worshiped the great, loving and merciful God with full passion! Next, the church choir sang the oratorio "Calvary Love". Under the command of Sister Liu Yingshu, the choir and band sang eleven selected songs starting from the selection of "Almighty True God, the Eternally Loving and Loving Almighty True God" to "The Lord is Resurrected, the Redemption of Love Has Been Completed". Accompanied by the band, the choir sang the voices of Christians who admire and love the Lord. They thanked them (her) for their hard work in worshiping God and preparing carefully!

Next, Pastor Yang Guangfu gave a vivid and touching sermon titled: "Eternal Love". Pastor Yang first stated the truth that most people believe, that is, "the dead cannot save others." But he also listed seven pieces of evidence to prove that the Lord Jesus defeated death and resurrected. Now 1.2 billion Christians around the world commemorate the Lord's resurrection today. 1) Empty Tomb; 2) More than 500 witnesses (500+ Witnesses); 3) Disciples’ Change; 4) Church Established, 15,000 people believed in the Lord and believed in the Lord’s resurrection; 5) New Testament (New Testament) ; 6) The Roman regime and the leaders of the Titanic Church (Oppositions), they put Jesus to death, but they could not oppose the fact of Jesus' resurrection; 7) The testimonies of Christians throughout the ages (Christians in ages), these are irrefutable and obliterable evidence, which bring the greatest power to people. Because Jesus lives forever, his love never changes, so people can understand it from three aspects: 1) He has borne the penalty for our sins and forgives us forever, 2) He has been praying for us all the time, 3) He is always with us, no matter where we go, the love of the Lord will always be with us. He gives us wisdom so that we are not afraid or worried, but have life, strength, and hope. The Lord’s love is an ever-living love! Finally, everyone sang "Because He Lives" accompanied by the symphony orchestra, successfully ending the Easter sacred music worship. Walking out of the lobby, my heart is filled with joy. In this joint Easter Sunday worship service, I not only heard and saw beautiful hymns and the Calvary drama, but also received visual and auditory satisfaction. I also received spiritual nourishment. The sermons of Pastor Yang Guangfu of the church can always make people convinced and receive great help and promotion.
