(reported by Zhang Zhaohong from Phoenix City Longgang Office) On June 22, all members of the Phoenix Longgang Office held a meeting, under the chairmanship of Chairman Liu Quanzhi, to discuss preparations for supporting the Phoenix Overseas Chinese Federation to hold the July 4th celebration of the United States National Day and the next Qinqin Conference.
Over the years, Phoenix Longgang Office has actively supported various activities of the Overseas Chinese Federation. In the annual National Day celebrations, Longgang contributes money and effort. Not only the group has advertising sponsorship, but many Longgang individuals also have advertising sponsorship. The task of selling lottery tickets by the Overseas Chinese Federation is also completed on time and in quantity. Among the overseas Chinese groups in Phoenix City, Longgang Office is a group that is enthusiastic about public welfare.
Since the inaugurated chairman Zhang Huafang took over the task of the 21st Friendship Conference of the Americas Longgang Office in 2016, all members of the Phoenix Longgang Office have been enthusiastic, carried forward the spirit of the Longgang team, and made preparations in a down-to-earth manner. Mr. Guan Zongren first donated US$10,000 to the Qinqin Conference and was awarded the permanent honorary advisor of the American Longgang Office. Members of the Longgang Office also responded and actively donated money to organize the Qinqin. So far, the amount raised has reached US$18,700, with only US$500 pledged, laying a good economic foundation for the activities of the 21st Qinqin Conference. In order to improve the Qinqin financial system, the meeting decided that financial expenditures must be co-signed by one of the co-chairmen of the Qinqin Conference (Liu Ruzhang, Guan Xiqiao, Zhang Zhaohong) and the current financial officer (Liu Deng Wanyi) before it can take effect. The large code should also be signed by three people to ensure the openness and security of the finances. The resolution also established a financial assistant (Kuan Kun-rong) to assist the current financial affairs.
Secretary-General Zhang Huafang reported on the current status of the hotel contract for the Qinqin Conference and will try his best to obtain a hotel contract with better conditions. The participating members also preliminarily discussed tourist attractions during the wedding, hoping that the four relatives of the Longgang family could appreciate Arizona's unique geographical scenery and environmental features.
