This weekend is a long weekend. The Phoenix Branch of the Chinese Association of Scientists and Engineers (Science and Engineering) held mountain climbing, leisure and entertainment activities on August 31st and September 1st at Mount Lemmon.
The event will gather at the Ramada Inn (6944 E Tanque Verde Rd, Tucson) at 11 a.m. on August 31 to climb Mt Lemmon. The hotel offers group discounts at USD 45 per standard room. The conference room costs US$35 for everyone to dine and have fun together. The hotel also provides a swimming pool, SPA, and breakfast.
Activity content: mountain climbing, sharing each family’s specialties, playing cards, games, and performances.
Because the hotel cannot be checked in until 3 pm, everyone can leave their things in the hotel when we gather at 11 am.
On September 1, I started climbing some more difficult mountains. Return to Phoenix the same day. Before coming back, we will eat together at what is said to be the best Chinese restaurant in Tucson. Bar-Da Chinese restaurant (so-called the best in Tucson)
You need to bring some snacks and home-cooked meals with you throughout the trip. Science and Technology provides some water and disposable cutlery, as well as the cost of the conference room. More friends are welcome to participate. Free for members, $3 per adult and $2 per child for non-members.
To register, please contact:
ACSE (Association of Chinese Scientists and Engineers) Amoy Yang (623-332-5808) Qiang Xu (623-703-8071) Sherry Li (602-872-8790)
