This year’s Teacher’s Day falls on September 28th on a Sunday. Members of the Phoenix Chinese School Student Representative Association held a small gratitude celebration for the teachers of the Chinese school to thank the teachers for their teaching and hard work.

Three weeks before Teachers' Day, members of the Student Representative Association first went to each class, asked the students to say a few words of gratitude to the teachers, and recorded them on their mobile phones. Later, Luo Yunling, the president of the Student Representatives Association, edited all the videos into a complete video, ready to be played as a surprise gift for the teachers on Teachers' Day on Sunday.

On September 28, the school asked teachers to move to the office after class. Afterwards, the venue began to play the student thank-you video, and delicious cakes and Starbucks coffee were prepared for the teachers to enjoy. The president of the Student Representative Association also presented a thoughtful gift - a Starbucks coffee gift card to every teacher present. Teachers, students and parents gathered together to chat and enjoy desserts, and everyone had a wonderful afternoon.

Phoenix Chinese School Student Representative Association is a very special student organization in Phoenix Chinese School. Its members include president, vice president, clerk, secretary and financial position. They are elected by votes of Chinese school students. Every year, the Student Generation Association holds many activities, such as charity sales, fund-raising, setting up game booths at autumn barbecues, end-of-year donations of cans to Tzu Chi, etc. In addition to taking Chinese courses at school, students can also learn to be volunteers to help others. It is a very meaningful organization.
