(News from this website) On November 15, 2014, in order to welcome the upcoming Thanksgiving Day of 2014, the US-China Cultural and Art Exchange Association held a unique literary evening at the Chandler Performing Arts Center. With the theme of praising gratitude, peace and love, the party perfectly combined the cultural connotations from the East and the West. Various Chinese and Western artists presented a wonderful performance to people from all walks of life and the audience. Life is a gift, and dedication is grace. The Puritans who came to the New World in the United States to pursue religious freedom have a famous folk song called "Simple Gift" that has been handed down. The lyrics sing: People can live simply, and freedom is a gift. We can be wherever we can. It is really the best gift. When we find the simplest version of ourselves, everything will go smoothly and be carefree. Don't feel inferior because of hard work. The humility of bending down, the love and selfless dedication you give are the best gifts. The "Alberta Chinese Choir" and the young singers of the "Non Si Gifted School" sang "A Simple Gift", an episode of the Broadway classic musical Carousel, "You'll Never Walk Alone", "Amazing Grace", "No Love", "Hallelujah" and other famous songs.
