On December 21, the Alberta Chinese Restaurant Association held its annual meeting to summarize the association’s activities over the past year and the work to be carried out next year. This year the restaurant will sign a new contract plan with Pepsi-Cola to obtain greater discounts for members; the collective purchase plan is also ongoing; the association has also held a working meeting with the county health bureau to understand and communicate on future changes to health inspection regulations. In terms of community services, Chinese restaurants will hold warm send-off events to homeless people year after year, and contribute money and effort in commemorating Chinese ancestors, the Overseas Chinese National Day, and beauty pageants. The Chinese Restaurant Association held a warm spring banquet, and also won good success in bowling competitions and dragon boat competitions. This meeting discussed matters such as holding a restaurant spring banquet next February. On the occasion of Christmas, Chairman Zhang Huafang wishes members a happy Christmas and New Year! He also hopes that all members will actively participate in the restaurant's spring banquet.
