Feini Chinese School is located in the old district of Huanghuang City. In recent years, many younger generation Chinese have moved into the Eastern New District. The source of students has been declining. Especially five years ago, the old school site was used to build apartments for the elderly. The school was temporarily suspended and many students transferred to some schools in the Eastern District. How to increase the number of students has always been a problem that has plagued the development of schools. The Year of the Sheep is indeed a year of celebration, and it brings joy to this ancient school. A parent who lives near the school introduced the school to community residents through community newspapers, and soon several non-Chinese students came to sign up. During the China Week activities to celebrate the Year of the Sheep, the school volunteers invited an old man with calligraphy skills and a lady with handicraft skills to serve at the school, and they were well received. Two students from the school also won first prize in the painting competition. Victoria, a student of our school, can sing audible Chinese songs. Around the Spring Festival, she performed at Chinese Week and some community schools to celebrate the Year of the Sheep, which won the school a reputation. In the next Spring Festival Lantern Festival event, the school invited volunteers to participate in writing Chinese names and handicraft production services, and also added the skills of making dumplings and making glutinous rice balls. It raised more than 1,500 yuan in school funding for the school, and also conducted advertising for the school. Some full-time schools and Chinese schools began to discuss matters related to the promotion of Chinese culture. In the past two months, new students have been admitted to both the youth class and the adult conversation class, and new volunteers have come to teach and assist. With the increase in students, the school has also been lucky enough to hire guzheng performer Ms. Wen Kunlu, who graduated from the Normal College, as a teacher. The school presents a new atmosphere of joy, unity and progress.
