Main content: The content of shooting is infinite and changing, while the form of shooting is diverse, but regular. We call the symbolic forms with certain regularities in the photographic plane the "form language of photography". Photography, like art, requires understanding and mastering the "form language" that structures photographic images, and through the creative use of "form language", one can accelerate the improvement of photography standards.
Teacher Ding Yunyan’s introduction: Ding Yunyan, born in 1948, is from Shanghai. Graduated from the Department of Photography, Beijing Film Academy, majoring in Journalism. Member of the China Photographers Association, member of the third academic committee of the China Press Photography Society, and visiting professor of China Information University. He has been engaged in photography education and training and photography theory research for many years. Photography papers "On the Image Thinking of Photographic Art" (1981), "On Photographic Distortion" (1982), "On Photographic Recording" (1987), "Reappearance of Consciousness, Photography, Photography Culture and the Origin of the Essence of Photography" (1997) were selected into all the National Photography Theory Annual Conferences. "The Formation and Development of Sha Fei's Ideological System of Photojournalism" (1991) has been selected into research anthologies about Sha Fei for many times; "The "Artistic Expansion" of Photojournalism" (1988) won the second prize for the National Excellent Paper; "A Preliminary Exploration of the Documentary Beauty of News Photography" (1983) won the second prize for the Excellent Paper of China's News Photography. He has presided over the editorial design and photography work for the publication of picture albums such as "Dragon", "Luliang", "Southern Shanxi Folk Customs and Folk Art", "Shanxi", "Shafei Memorial Collection", etc. He is the author of "Caijiaya", "Wutai Mountain", "Photography is Very Taoist" series "Travel Photography" "Brazil", "Photography Travel in Germany", "Photography Travel in Pakistan"; photography series "Photography of Lotuses", "Photography of Water", "Photography of Bamboo", "Complete Guide to Travel Photography - Photographing while Walking", "Advanced Tutorial on Photography Art Composition Inside and Outside the Frame", etc.
