Ribbon-cutting ceremony
The Greater Phoenix Taiwan-American Chamber of Commerce and the Chandler City Government Public Relations Committee Human Relations Commission held the Asia-Pacific Economic and Trade Symposium and Taiwan Excellent Products Exhibition ribbon-cutting opening ceremony and press conference tea party at the Chandler City Council Hall from 2 to 4 pm on August 24. The guest speaker this time was Congressman Matt Salmon, a member of the U.S. Congress and chairman of the Asia-Pacific Foreign Affairs Committee, who was specially invited to give a special lecture on the latest developments in Asia-Pacific economy, trade and related laws and regulations currently on Capitol Hill in the United States. He also gave an incisive explanation of the latest developments in the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership (TPP), and reiterated his support for Taiwan to join the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership (TPP). The symposium was hosted by Glenn Hamer, President of the Arizona Thirty Chamber of Commerce. Lin Ruolan, Deputy Leader of the Economic Group of the Economic and Cultural Affairs Office in Los Angeles, Maria Kenney, President of the National Philippine Chamber of Commerce, and Zhang Shengyi, CEO and Director of the Taiwan American Chamber of Commerce in Greater Phoenix, served as guest speakers on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce President Zhang Qingling. During the symposium, Zhang Shengyi especially praised the president, Ms. Zhang Qingling, for her dedication and efforts in leading the chamber of commerce in preparing for this event in the past few months. However, she was unable to attend because her mother passed away and returned to Taiwan to attend the farewell ceremony. She also expressed her condolences and condolences to the president and his family.

After the symposium, Lin Ruolan, deputy leader of the economic group of the Economic and Cultural Affairs Office in Los Angeles, on behalf of Chairman Yang Haihua of the Orange County Overseas Chinese Cultural and Educational Service Center, issued a certificate of appreciation to the Chandler City Public Relations Committee Human Relations Commission and the Greater Phoenix Taiwan-American Chamber of Commerce, thanked them for their efforts in promoting the economic and trade development of Taiwan and the United States. Chandelier City Multicultural Manager Leah Powell, Public Relations Committee Member Zhang Shengyi, Greater Phoenix Taiwan-American Chamber of Commerce Founding President Xi Shiying, and Director Huang Yulian represented the acceptance.

On behalf of the Chamber of Commerce, the founding president of the Taiwan-American Chamber of Commerce in Greater Phoenix City, Shi-ying Chi, presented a certificate of thanks to the sponsors of this event, President Zhang Qingling, Huang Yulian, Director Zhang Shengyi and Wen Yanting, as well as all manufacturers participating in the Taiwan Excellent Products Exhibition, such as Flan Porcelain, ADATA Kegang Technology, Yinglian Co., Ltd., Taimen Paper International, FANS Telecom, Zijian Art and Taiwan Trade Center in Los Angeles. I would also like to thank all the directors, volunteers and guests who participated in the event. I am very pleased that the event was a complete success and hope that the Chamber of Commerce will continue to flourish and prosper.
Guests attending this event include board members of the Greater Phoenix Taiwan-American Chamber of Commerce, Vice Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Federation Cui Zengqi, Chairman of the Senior Citizens Association Daodekun, former Hualian Chairman Wang Weizi and presidents of mainstream chambers of commerce, presidents of chambers of commerce of all ethnic groups in the province, overseas Chinese and academic circles, mainstream politicians and city officials, representatives of manufacturers, and mainstream media. Nearly 200 people are waiting to attend. After the meeting, the Daluohuang Taiwan American Chamber of Commerce prepared exquisite and delicious Taiwanese snacks and refreshments as well as lucky bags of Taiwan's fine products for the guests present to promote the exchange of business opportunities.
