The Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce in Greater Phoenix City held its 2017 New Year Dinner at Fengcheng Seafood Restaurant at 6pm on February 11th. Mainstream political and business celebrities and overseas Chinese in Greater Phoenix City welcomed the Year of the Golden Rooster and celebrated the Lantern Festival. The dinner started with a lively ceremony of Lion Presentation. President Zhang Shengyi addressed the guests on behalf of all the directors and supervisors, and introduced the history of the Chamber of Commerce and the profile of previous chambers of commerce's efforts to promote Taiwan-U.S. civil diplomacy activities, so that the guests could understand that the Chamber of Commerce spared no effort to explore business opportunities in Taiwan and the United States and thanked all sponsors and volunteer teams. Finally, he wished everyone good luck and good luck in the Year of the Rooster. Arizona Governor Dough Doucey instructed Barry Wong, CEO of the Governor's Office of Diversity and Equality, to issue a Proclamation certificate, designated as the Lunar New Year's Day, to the Taipei American Chamber of Commerce in Daluo City. Due to the rich lottery gifts, this dinner added an incomparable joyful atmosphere, and also made Taiwanese overseas Chinese in Greater Phoenix City feel full of care and warmth.

The climax of the party was when Jonathan Lines, the newly elected chairman of the Arizona Republican Party, and his wife won free air tickets provided by China Airlines, and member Jian Ruixiang won an upgrade ticket. The dinner ended successfully with a climax of exclamation and the guests and hosts enjoyed themselves.
