> Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Fengcheng Chinese Christian Church [Reported by Phoenix Fengming] The 30th anniversary celebration of Fengcheng Chinese Christian Church was held as scheduled at 10:30 am on February 19th in the church lobby. This celebration was jointly worshiped in Chinese and English. The party was originally scheduled to start at 10:30. People attending the celebration started arriving at 10 o'clock. We also arrived half an hour early to watch the ceremony at the main venue. After entering, we saw that one-third of the seats were full, so we found a seat in the middle. I sat down in the front seat and saw that the church’s colleagues in charge of the media department were busy setting up cameras. The church sent four cars to pick up the parents and aunts who lived in the elderly apartment. Soon people arrived one after another, and those who arrived late had to watch the TV broadcast in the second and third venues. The celebration service started on time at 10:30, hosted by an English-speaking youth pastor. He opened with a solemn, enthusiastic and cheerful hymn, praising the great God. Everyone congratulated and greeted each other, and a joyful atmosphere enveloped the entire venue. This is followed by an overview of church history. During the service, Pastor Guan and Pastor Yang preached. The title of Pastor Guan’s sermon was, “Counting the Grace of the Church in 30 Years.” Thirty years ago, several students’ Bible study classes started a church that was cared for by God. During the 30 years of growth and expansion, it has demonstrated God’s glory and grace. The title of Pastor Yang's sermon: "See what the Lord wants us to see" reminds and calls our church and congregation to see clearly what the Lord wants us to see and do what the Lord wants us to do in the face of the achievements of the past 30 years. We are redeemed children who must live out the office of the bride of the Lamb. We firmly believe that the Lord’s commission to our church is to glorify God through the continuous building up of loyal believers. The vision the Lord has given our church is to continue to build loyal believers and continue to plant churches to preach the gospel. In the past 30 years, God has been faithful to protect and provide for the church’s various needs, allowing many people to know the Lord and receive salvation and edification through the church. Now that God has opened the door to the gospel widely and provided abundant resources, let us be faithful and faithful, see what He wants us to see, and do what He wants us to do. Our future tasks are still long and arduous, and we will continue to faithfully demonstrate the glory of God and expand the kingdom of God. The sermons of the two pastors were interspersed with hymns from the choir and testimonial sharing videos from the congregation. Different families and individuals all described their growth and joy in the Fengcheng Chinese Church, a big family full of love, full of God's great love. Many new catechumens also participated in this celebration and worship. After the service, the congregation gathered on the lawn in the south of the auditorium and took photos to commemorate the 30th anniversary. Three photographers stood on a high lift and took photos of nearly a thousand people, leaving an unforgettable memory for everyone. After the photos were taken, everyone dispersed to the east lawn and the saloon, where co-workers had already prepared free lunch, tea, and desserts for everyone. The church also prepared exquisite commemorative gifts for everyone to celebrate its 30th anniversary. All of a sudden, the lawn, saloon and other corners of the church were filled with happy adults and children, enjoying the food while sharing their joy and gratitude. At one o'clock, the co-workers cut the cake in the lobby. The three-layer cake, which was more than one meter high, was cut into countless small pieces and delivered to everyone's hands. The sweet and delicious cake is sweet in the mouth and in the heart. I think about doing my part for the future development of the church, and working hard for the church to continue to faithfully display the glory of God and expand the kingdom of God!
