Xinhuanet, Fuzhou, June 25 (Reporter Zheng Liang) According to the latest news from the Zhangzhou Intermediate Court of Fujian Province, with the approval of the Supreme People's Court, on June 25, the Zhangzhou Intermediate Court executed three drug smuggling, selling, and transporting drug criminals in accordance with the law. The three criminals are all Taiwanese.
The Zhangzhou Intermediate Court made judgments on the case of Chen Tianlu and Xu Futai on drug smuggling and transportation on December 20, 2010 and on April 27, 2011, and on the case of Wangzhen clan criminals on drug smuggling, trafficking, and transportation. They sentenced three people to death in accordance with the law, deprived them of political rights for life, and confiscated all personal property. After the verdict was announced, all three defendants appealed. The Fujian Provincial High Court ruled in August 2011 and December 2011 to reject the appeal and uphold the original verdict. The Zhangzhou Intermediate Court executed three criminals on the 25th in accordance with the execution order issued by the President of the Supreme People's Court.
After trial, the court found that on November 23, 2009, the criminal Chen Tianlu was instructed by a Taiwanese named Cai (handled in a separate case) to receive 90 kilograms of ketamine and transport it to his own breeding farm near Zhaojiapu, Zhangpu County, Zhangzhou. He hired someone to transport the drug that night on a fishing boat he purchased to a Taiwanese ship connecting at sea. On December 19 of the same year, after receiving instructions from drug dealers, criminal Xu Futai gathered criminal Chen Tianlu and others to go to the road from Zhaojiabao to Chihu Town in Zhangpu County to receive 80 kilograms of ketamine and store it in Chen Tianlu's breeding farm. On the 23rd of the same month, he hired someone to transport the drugs to a connecting Taiwanese ship.
On January 22, 2010, after receiving instructions and drug money from drug dealers, criminal Xu Futai, together with Su Mou (handled in a separate case) and others, went to Zhangpu County to pick up and transport drugs. Chen Tianlu was injured in a car accident and was unable to participate in the pick-up, so he provided vehicle assistance. Su and others were caught on the spot after receiving 118.2 kilograms of the drug ketamine near the Zhaojiabao Expressway exit in Zhangpu County, while Chen Tianlu and Xu Futai were arrested in the breeding farm.
Regarding the case of drug smuggling, selling and transporting by criminal Wang Zhenzong, the court found after trial that from the end of 2009 to early 2010, criminal Wang Zhenzong and "Big Head" (at large) premeditated to smuggle 100 kilograms of the drug ketamine from the mainland to Taiwan for sale. In February 2010, criminal Wang Zhenzong once again planned with "Dr. Chen" (at large) and others to smuggle 150 kilograms of ketamine from the mainland to Taiwan for profit. On March 5 of the same year, the batch of drugs was seized on the spot as they were being prepared for delivery at the Zhaojiabao Expressway exit in Zhangpu County.
